This letter is intended for the President and the Board of Directors of your homeowners’ or condominium association. If you received this letter in error, that is if you are not your association president or Boca Del Mar liaison, then please forward this to the president of your association.

Dear Sir or Madam,

The Mizner Trail Golf Course, located in the southern portion of Boca Del Mar, has been closed for five years. Recently a developer has submitted a plan to Palm Beach County to build 390 residential units on the golf course property.

Palm Beach County’s Board of Commissioners will ultimately make the final decision as to any future development of the property, but they may seek input from Boca Del Mar. The Boca Del Mar Board of Directors desires your community’s input before considering whether to take a position on this issue. We will not take a position on this issue until we receive input from our communities as to whether we should support, oppose, or remain neutral during the county decision making process.

Therefore the Board of Directors of the Boca Del Mar Improvement Association requests the attendance of your association President and/or Board of Directors at a meeting on September 29, 2010 at the South County Civic Center located at 16700 Jog Road, Delray Beach, at 7:00 PM.

Boca Del Mar has invited representatives of Palm Beach County’s zoning department, and the developer, to present information concerning the zoning process and the proposed development plan. There is anticipated to be time for the directors to ask questions to the presenters.

The ultimate purpose of this meeting is to inform you and your Board so that you can take that information back to your unit owners. In turn we look forward to you, after your community’s consideration, to provide us your community’s thoughts.
